About Me

Hello.  I have been enjoying practicing the Bowen Technique since graduating from the Bowtech School of Bowen in 2007.

I have been fortunate to know about Bowen from an early age, spending my childhood near Hamilton in Victoria, Australia, where one of the first schools of Bowen was established.

Growing up I was seeing how Bowen (with Ossie Rentsch) was helping family and friends who were managing chronic health issues and musculoskeletal pain and tension.

I have always been curious about, and drawn to the world of healing, so it was no surprise that I initially chose to go into nursing.  It was whilst chatting with a patient that I was reminded of the wonders of the Bowen Technique. This patient’s daughter was a Bowen Practitioner.  I organised a Bowen treatment and soon I was laying on her treatment couch feeling unbelievably relaxed.  I left her clinic feeling very spaced out, and continued to experience the effects of her treatment for days after (very achey!).  I was reminded of the power of those small, gentle Bowen moves and decided to learn more.

Bowen is so versatile and over the years (in between having 2 babies), I have attended a number of wonderful Bowen workshops and participated in regular webinars which means that I have lots of amazing Bowen tools at my disposal to help you when needed.

I am a full member of the Bowen Association of the UK and am registered with the CNHC.

In 2014 I completed my training as a Homeopath at the South Downs School of Homeopathy in Chichester, UK.  Bowen and Homeopathy work wonderfully well together and I will recommend different remedies which may be used alongside your Bowen Treatments to speed your recovery from acute injury and ease the aftereffects of trauma.

I also love to use Homeopathy on its own if this is more appropriate.

I completed my most recent training in the McLoughlin Scar Tissue Release in 2020. MSTR is such a fantastic and powerful treatment when used alone or combined with a few (a very few) Bowen moves and again, it is incredibly relaxing!

Finally, I will always be extremely grateful for the knowledge and experience I have gained during my 20 years of nursing practice as I find that I am constantly drawing from it to complement my work as a Bowen Practitioner and Homeopath.

Thanks for reading and do get in touch if you feel like you would benefit from Bowen and/or Homeopathy.
